Basket Liner
I embroidered and designed this basket liner to turn a plain plastic basket into something much more attractive to sit on the bathroom counter. I use it to keep my contact solutions and necessities in one place.A small liner like this would run $4.00. The larger the basket, the higher the price. Again, unless I pick out the baskets and designs, there would be a custom price for each piece.
This is what I started with. Plastic baskets can be found in almost any "dollar" store. There are various sizes. Inexpensive fabric can make this a very economical way and pretty way to store items in plain view. The price of making these liners will depend on the size of basket. I can line wicker baskets as well.
Denim Handbag
This was the first handbag I made. The embroidery is on the bag (no pocket). There are pockets at each end; lhe inside liner has four pockets altogether. The material is cotton denim. A bag like this would sell for $15.00 to $20.00, depending on the design and the chosen lining material.
Rocking Chair & Hassock
I re-upholstered this rocking chair in an upholstery class. Then I made the hassock similarly to the other, with some minor changes. Hassocks can be made out of an assortment of materials. The plastic "crates", the wooden crates, and even laundry baskets can be used. The materials involved with making the hassock depends on what type of base material is used. so each hassock would be priced accordingly.
That is all of the projects I have to display at this time. I am always looking for ideas, and have several things on the "drawing board". I will be adding things as I get them completed. If you have seen anything you are interested in ordering, email me at: mjdesigns_@hotmail.com.
